I had the privilege of spending the morning with a very cute family this week. The main object of my lens was the two brothers named Henry and Charlie...but their sister Lucy joined them at the end in her Halloween costume. Their incredibly creative Mom decided to dress them all up as the Peanuts Gang for Halloween as a play on their names - Lucy and Charlie played their namesakes, while Henry played the role of the cutest Snoopy I have ever seen! You can all look forward to photos of that as a Halloween surprise!!!
For right now I would like to share a few photos of Henry and Charlie.
Charlie was in a very contemplative mood...
I love this photo because his pose, which he put himself in, looks so grown up, as does his expression, but the bit of drool on his chin and those cheeks just scream baby! So precious Sir Charlie!
Charlie did so good and there are just too many great portraits to choose from!
The lighting in this one just makes me melt! I love the side lighting and the way it highlights the eagerness to crawl and explore that you can see in his face.
Henry wanted to play more than have his photo taken, so we played. We ran, we played hide and seek, we played "look at your silly sister over my shoulder"...and...we came out of the session with some portraits that show you Henry in all of his brilliant innocence. He melted my heart with his sweet laugh and his shy glance.
He wanted to help me clean up the leaves that I put on the bench. I tried to have him help me add leaves instead of put them away, but he thought clean up was a better idea. I couldn't help but agree.
This bridge ended up being our favorite spot and I am sure glad it was. We captured the two frames below as a result.
Henry, thanks for warming up to me and showing me how to make friends. I am glad I could save you from those little old ladies on the bridge and maybe next time I will let you win the race to the fountain! : )
