Capturing a photo of a dog is always an adventure and a lesson in patience. If you are setting out to learn how not to "over-pose" your subjects, may I suggest trying to capture your pet how they are??? They will gladly chew a bone or fetch a ball, but try to get them to sit and smile pretty for too long! : )

This post has it's roots in a valuable lesson I learned from Kamee June's workshop this weekend - they are beautiful just as they are. Capture the essence of your subjects and the result will show that they are perfectly beautiful just as they are.

This is a new adventure for me! I am ready to take on the challenge and sieze everything that I want to live the happiest life I know how. My goal is to blog at least one photo over the next month and to create some branding for myself.

If you would like to watch someone build a business from the very first brick, then I invite you to jump on board! I would love for you to take this journey with me.

This is a photo Evan snapped of me. It was the first photo taken with my new 50/1.4 and it is out of focus, and not on exposure, but it creates joy in me every time I see it! So, it is fitting that I post it below. This is me - radiating happy!

.....and this is how HE feels for me right now.....

....So - up, up, up and away we go!
